WestCare Health System, a non-profit organization, has provided health care to this area for over 65 years. And because the things we do extend to the very core of existence - birth, illness, recovery and even death - we are committed to the people of the region.
WestCare Health System Foundation was created to ensure that quality healthcare will be available to the people of our region now and in the future. The Foundation endowment is a permanent fund, which continues to grow from both gifts and earnings.
All donations are tax deductible and are used to fund new state-of- the-art medical equipment, staff development, new and innovative health services and community programs that directly impact the life of the residents of Western North Carolina, not into routine operating costs.
